Whisby Road improvement scheme

A scheme to improve the remainder of Whisby Road between Doddington Road and Teal Park gets underway on 7th October.

The carriageway along Whisby Road will be widened to current standards and a combined footway/cycleway will be built to both sides. Street lighting will be provided along the full length of the road, and a roundabout at the Station Road junction and two toucan crossings near this junction to assist pedestrians and cyclists to cross the road safely.

This work is being supported by the Department for Transport fundedAccess LN6 programme to improve sustainable transport options in the area.
